More Examples of Costly Red Tape and Miscalculations in Health Care Overhaul

Gus would like to share two recent reports that are prime examples of the carelessness with which your tax dollars are being spent, and the cost that it will have on the country's economic recovery.

A recent report from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office is now saying that the price for the federal health care bill will cost U.S. taxpayers nearly $1.8 trillion over 10 years, nearly twice as much as the President pledged when he signed it into law. Read the CBO report here.

Gus has been opposed to this health care overhaul from the start, and is advocating for solutions that would create a more affordable and accessible health care system for everyone, without the crushing mandates, tax hikes, and spending increases found in this health care bill.

Second, a study by the Heritage Foundation finds that the Obama administration has implemented more than 10,000 new regulations that cost consumers and businesses $46 billion a year. Excessive regulations are keeping our economy from recovering, and are placing a burden on job creators and American families. Read the report here.
